Quality balsa construction
Larger size makes it easier to see and fly than smaller models
Ready to fly in less than an hour
Hangar 9® realizes some beginners and instructors might prefer a larger airframe trainer that is easier to see and can handle windier conditions. Hangar 9's new Alpha .60 RTF is for them
Like the .40 size version, the Alpha .60 is ready for flight in less than an hour and is equipped with a top-notch JR® Sport S400 radio system. It too is built from the best balsa and plywood available and covered in Hangar 9 UltraCote®. Power for the larger airframe comes from Evolution's robust .61 NT engine, outfitted with the same style 3-blade trainer prop found on the Alpha .40. This specially engineered prop not only reduces noise levels, it gives the bigger Alpha spirited climb performance and keeps level-flight speeds manageable for a novice.
